The Fantastic Four has finally received award recognition, the 2015 film won three Razzies. The film won for worst director: Josh Trank, worst remake/sequel, and had a joint win along with 50 Shades of Grey for worst picture of 2015.

The 2015 comic book movie flop was helm by Josh Trank (Chronicle). The movie had a reported $120+ million dollar production budget, which received a worldwide return of $168 million. The feature film was plagued by rumors of Trank's reckless behavior on and off set. Alternately, there were accusations made that the film's distributor, Fox, meddled in Trank's vision of the film. Trank made an infamous tweet stating, he had a "fantastic version" of the film that the audience would never see. Regardless of whom is at fault, the resulting film was critically panned and scored a 9% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Leave your thoughts below whether this movie deserved its Razzie "wins".

@AsapXXX - I sure hope so. Worst movie of the year in the Feb is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Though in a year it'll be interesting to see how many people even remember that GoE exists.

Bare with me... But Fox I know how you make another F4 movie that makes you boat load of money and lets you maintain the rights until you can do a proper F4 movie.

Should this serve as a lesson to FOX.

When you consider a property only through the angle of a right grabs to the point of rushing its production a few days before the reversal date deadline while you had more than 5 years to do it, that's negligence and an act of self sabotage.

We may live in a golden era of CBM but consumers won't eat everything on the pretence it is a CBM.

Next time, they will put the care, time and effort that property deserve and use the time properly to go through each step of the production without rushing it just to not lose those rights.

And certain users of this site(you know who you are) believed Fant4stic was going to be the best comic book movie of 2015.

They should have had a category for Worst Re-Shoot Wig and awarded it to Kate Mara. Most distracting wig in history of cbms.

As a user in SuperHeroHype wisely put it:
"And thus concludes the near 2 year complete social annihilation of this movie. From controversy over a black Human Torch, to leaked set photos of a burn-victim Dr. DOOM, to the complete ripping it took at the box office and by the critics...and the cherry on top of the Razzies.

Bravo, FOX, bravo."
