While in a recent interview with Comic Book to promote his newest film Kingsman: The Secret Service, Mark Millar reveals that he has seen “chunks” of the Fantastic Four reboot, and he thinks it’s pretty good. “I’ve seen chunks of it but not the complete movie, and it's looking good. What I’m really excited for is to see how many people are surprised by it." He then talked about the fans and how they responded to the film, before they even saw the first trailer. “I remember everybody b**ching about Fantastic Four for about six months then the trailer came out and everyone is like ‘this is really good.’ I think it'll surprise people."

Millar then dished on how he hopes the fans will respond to the film beforehand and after they’ve seen it. “I think you don't want to be in a position where everyone is expecting something and then they're disappointed.” He then added, “I think people are coming and they're just sort of like, hoping for the best. I think that's a good way to watch a movie.”

With the film set to release August 7, 2015, I’m pretty sure fans all over the world are only hoping for this film to be nothing but a success. A few days ago Micheal B. Jordan sent a message to the fans, and director Josh Trank spoke on the fan's views as well. No matter how much the film is criticized and/or praised, we (fans and the film's cast and crew) all want one thing...And that's a damn good film. Sound off below with your thoughts!

You know, I was thinking about the FF the other day and I thought of something.

The whole reason it's based on Ultimate FF isn't Trank, it's Mark Millar.

Matthew Vaughn and Mark Millar for some reason have a good relationship and Vaughn for some reason adapts work of the hack. Kick-Ass, Kick-Ass 2 (he produced I think), Kingsman. I believe Fox is also looking to have a Nemesis movie and we also have Civil War coming. Millar also was involved in supposedly helping Fox with their Marvel films. Wolverine 3 is supposedly influenced by Old Man Logan. Superior film in the works.

So in order to do a new successful take on Fantastic Four, why not use the main everyone wants to adapt works from?

It's just sad everyone wants to do Mark Millar based films such he's a [frick]ing hack.

Movie studios got mixed up. They kept hearing about the great works of someone named MM and thought of Mark Millar but it actually was Mike Mignola.

Mignola is no doubt 10 times more talented than Millar and doesn't do bullshit stuff like incest, rape, graphic violence, homophobia, and other dumb shit.

So yea, just a thought I recently had.

Unfortunately, about 70% of the CBM community will shit on anything that's not made by Marvel Studios. So yeah, there's those [frick]heads.

lol @Gusto

I don't have a problem with graphic violence, shit Tarantino is my favorite director.

But with Tarantino, he doesn't include violence just to have violence like Mark does.

Mark will just have graphic violence for the sake of graphic violence and also is never subtle when it comes to it.

Only way this movie surprises me is if the after credits scene involves them signing a contract with Marvel...I do think it will be entertaining...I'll see it..Kebbell will do a good job as Doom.

FOX thinks it's gonna be XM:FC type sleeper hit. Yeah ... i wouldn't be so sure. You [frick]ed up marketing for this movie. Not to mention there is something really wrong about this movie or someone is really trying to discredit the director. Either way ... the movie might bomb.

btw ... the biggest problem i have with FF is that it just doesn't look that ... interesting. It looks jus like another comic book movie. I'm not that excited for this movie right now. In a times where almost every studio tries to raise the bar ... it looks like someone did take a nap.

I hate to say this, since I normally try to stay positive about these kinds of movies, but as of right now, I don't have much faith in this film. Granted, if it turns out decent, I'll happily admit I was wrong. But, because of all the rumors surrounding this flick and the supposed nightmarish production, I don't have much faith. It's a shame, because there are talented people involved. But, like I said, I'll just try and hope for the best.

second KickAss was really not that good. Also, what's a point of hiring Jim for such a funny role and give him only like 3 scenes ?
