Josh Trank and co. are bringing their FF reboot to the Deep South! The Wrap report that Fox decided to take advantage of a recent bill that has reduced Louisiana's film production incentive program -- and Fantastic Four won't be the only studio tent-pole flick to do so, as Jerry Bruckheimer is also bringing the fifth installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise to the state too. There have been no official Fantastic Four casting announcements yet, but Chronicle's Michael B. Jordan is said to be in the running to play Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch. The reboot will begin production in September, with an eye for release on March 6, 2015.

Fox should just scrap this crap, dont care if the rights go back to Marvel or into oblivion, it's taking up a spot that should be for X-FORCE or another X-MEN film. That's what Fox should be focusing on. The X-MEN universe is huge on it's own, doesn't need to be interwined or associated with the FF.

The Fantastic Four reboot?

I had a good feeling about the last 2 FF films & TASM & IM3 & Superman Returns & X-Men Origins: Wolverine & X-Men First Class.

Look how those films turned out.

I have faith in Fantastic Four. Josh Trank is a big reason for that. The other films sucked, but something tells me this will be different. The Fantastic Four are one of the best superhero teams, and can be great on the big screen.

I just think the idea of putting X-Men and Fantastic Four in one universe is really stupid. There's no reason for it, it's just Fox's way of trying to stay relevant in a world that's forgotten about their franchises.

Lol people are already calling this a shit movie when we don't even know who's in it, what it's about, who's scoring it, nothing. You all sound like a bunch of crying bitches right now, seriously.

@Levi saying "look how those films turned out" and bringing up a movie that is considered good by most people (First Class) really deteriorates your argument

I was in the mood to go back and re-watch Rise of the Silver Surfer the other day because it's been awhile and I couldn't really remember it very well. Then I watched the trailer and I remembered. No.

I think FF could use the reboot. Silver Surfer deserves another chance on screen too I think.

Well...shit.

Really was hoping this would fall through and go back home to Marvel Studios within the next year or so.

Oh well...hopefully this bombs hard and Fox finally gives it up.

This has DISASTER written all over it. It's practically August and production starts in September & we don't even know who's in this thing. Fox please just do the right thing and sell this back to Marvel, than we can get FF in the MCU.

When I saw Superman Returns, I liked it. Wasn't blown away but was disappointed.

I was like 12ish when I saw it and while I liked seeing Superman on the big screen, I wanted to see some action. Not just him lift up a rock.

I love the Fantastic Four but why on earth
change the fundamental core of Marvel's
first team? Johnny Storm is white!! What
next? Dr Doom will be an overweight Sumo?
Stick with the basics otherwise this movie
will suck worse than Fox's first two eye sores!

Just read Robert Jordan is going to be playing Apollo Creed's grandson in a Rocky spinoff, so probably not going to be the Torch.
