When asked about the possibility of donning the face metal as Victor Von Doom..

"Isn't that great? Isn't that fantastic? I know nothing about it."

But when asked if he would consider taking on the role of the iconic villain..

"I don't know, Yeah, maybe. Yeah."

So there you go. It's always possible that Moyer is just keeping schtum for some reason but it seems this one won't be happening. Which is a shame, as much as I have little interest in the reboot, he was a very good choice for Doom!

@deadpool72 Totally agreed, Waltz voice would be badass for Doom, knowing that Waltz is too short, so use a tall guy and Waltz voice with the perfect Doom origin to make we fans happy.

GR8 actor but wasted on that role from FOX...

In fact if FOX wants to do a good FF movie, leave DOOM alone... hell give DOOM back to MARVEL... theres plenty of super villains FOX could use!

He really would be a good Doom.
Ryan Kwanten would be a good Johnny Storm, and they're already on the show together.
Come to think of it, Ryan Kwanten would also make a pretty good Macgyver.....

LizIles@ Stuff changes from day to day in HW. it's just the modern era of news and the internet. if this actor came into the FOX office yesterday then we can post about it yesterday. if he declines the offer then we'll post about it today making it seem like we were misinformed when really we were just in on the process. people are impatient with their news and it's a vicious cycle. bloggers rush out to report the scoop asap because they want to be first and they know we want to be the first to read it. was he wrong? yeah. but i do not think he made it up.
But i like your style! ;) lol keep up the skepticism, it's a good thing. i just think you need to lower your standards on what you think this site is for. i come here for fun and to talk with other fans! i couldn't care less about the rumors they post - they're just fun to talk about.
