Defend The Throne With This Special GAME OF ZONES - Golden State Warriors Edition
With the new NBA season set to tip off in just two short days, Bleacher Report has teamed with the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors to debut a special edition of their popular Game Of Thrones, NBA Edition parody series Game Of Zones. Come check it out!
The NBA season ended with a bang last June when Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors triumphed over the Cleveland Cavaliers and their Joffrey-esque captain LeBron James to win their first NBA Championship since 1975.
Ahead of training camp this past September, Warriors head coach and 6x NBA champion Steve Kerr reached out to Bleacher Report, which is owned by Kerr's former employer Turner Sports, to see whether it was possible for them to create a new special edition of their popular Game Of Zones animated series for him to show his players to get them ready for the upcoming season and well, Bleacher Report came through.
Check out the funny video, which features the entire roster from Curry to Kerr to Klay Thompson to Draymond Green to NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala and there's even a fun cameo from a member of the Boston Celtics!
Plus, check out this reaction video, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at the reigning NBA champs watching the video for themselves and hilariously reacting to the several inside jokes scattered throughout.

Here's some extra context on a few of the inside jokes:
"Whenever Coach Kerr ends practice or gives the guys a day off, Brandon Rush always says 'Get what you neeeeed' in a high-pitched voice. I have attached an audio file for you to hear it yourself—that is actually his voice. It is probably the most repeated saying from our team throughout the year."
"During an interview in the regular season Leandro Barbosa said, 'We gonna be championship' … which our players had a ton of fun with."
"Iguodala has a saying he always uses (apologies for the vulgarity) when he shoots a jumper that he feels is going in: 'Hold my [junk]!' or sometimes it is abbreviated to just 'Hold it!'
"[Assistant coach] Ron Adams' name for proper defensive position when guarding the ball is 'Stick stance.' Our players love to make fun of that term. It would be great to have someone comment on Ron’s stick stance as he stood in this funky position."
