Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Offers Another Glimpse Of His HERCULES Transformation

Former WWE Champion and box office superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has once again taken to Twitter to offer up a brief glimpse at his transformation into Hercules. This one confirms earlier reports of him having hair like Mickey Rourke's 'Whiplash' in Iron Man 2.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has Tweeted yet another photo of him being made up as the titular character in Brett Ratner's Hercules. It doesn't show us much, but here's hoping that this is all leading to a full reveal in the not too distant future! The second photo is simply him working out in preparation for the role, and while Hercules will cut out the supernatural elements of the character, there's no denying that The Rock is still going to look pretty damn powerful in this movie.

Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend. Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.

I seen Cage Fighter Alex Reid dressed as a Celtic Warrior for a film I was involved in. If Rocky looks anything like him with the hair piece, etc...this could be awful

Then again good ol' Dwayne never fails to impress and he can actually act unlike Reid

The great one doing what he does best, saving, rejuvinating and starting franchises, he really has come a long way since the Scorpion King and Doom, never thought he would become this "big". Someone sign this mofo up as Luke Cage already, he's made for the part.

Monstrosity on a man. Wish him the best, not really caring about the story.

I use to love that Luke Cage fan poster. Now that I realize that Saoirse Ronan's name is on the poster, it lost all credibility. It's garbage now.

As impressive as The Rock, why doesn't it seem like he can get a six pack? Even when the rest of him is ripped to shreds, his abs don't seem up to the mark.

And it must be a pain being shirtless with all those tattoos. I imagine its 2-3 hours in the make-up chair everyday just to cover them up.

Is it me or does it seem like Johnson can play both Caucasian and black roles? Like no matter who it is he's playing you can still buy it. In fact I think the only race he will be unable to sell you be a 100% Asian. Even that you can still buy it if they said one of his parents was white.he can be Hispanic, black, whote .. Lol

@Emjeed- Being black/Samoan mix, well-traveled, educated, and having almost 20 years of public speaking experience will have that effect, I guess.

The Rock has long hair in this?? Ewww.... I hate men with long hair, he isn't gonna look right. It looked okay in Scorpion King due to the way it was styled, but this look may not turn out well.

I was hoping more of the Disney's Hercules animated movie hairstyle. Short, but styled, like a Greek or Roman.

He's a cool dude,solid action star.

However he cannot pull off playing a Caucasian role as someone else claimed.
To me race does not matter but isn't Herc supposed to be Greek?

Screw it..Herc is strongest man alive in that world & The Rock looks strong as it gets.
With Mr. Steroids help of course but that's just an aid,he still puts in the hard work training.

@GUNSMITH: Actually, he's only in "movie shape" (aka Popcorn Muscles). He looks good on-screen, but when he wrestled the last couple times he was winded at around the 10-15 minute mark.
