James Cameron’s AVATAR 2 Won’t Be Ready For Its 2017 Release Date
Avatar 2 was originally set to hit theaters on December 25, 2017. However, according to a new report by The Wrap, the film’s release has been delayed for reasons unknown. To check out all the details regarding the situation, hit the jump to check it out!

According to a new report by The Wrap, James Cameron's Avatar 2 will not be ready in time for its planned December 25th, 2017 release date. This past Thursday, Twentieth Century Fox declined to speak on the film missing its window, which makes us wonder what exactly happened that caused the film to delay once more?
If I had to guess, I'd say it had something to do with Star Wars: Episode VIII changing it's release date to December 15, 2017 - just ten days before the release of the Avatar sequel. Judging how The Force Awakens was a big success in the box office, "Episode VIII" only looks to match that film's greatness. And if that would be the case, Avatar 2's ticket sales would drop dramatically.
No new release date for the Avatar sequel has been revealed yet, but as of this reading, Fox has the franchise's next two sequels set to debut in December of 2017 and 2018. What do you think?
