Teaser Trailer For HERCULES: THE LEGEND BEGINS (Sadly, Not The Hercules Movie With The Rock)

There are two movies featuring Hercules coming out in 2013. One stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in Brett Ratner's adaptation of Hercules: The Thracian Wars, and the other stars Twilight's Kellan Lutz. Here's the first teaser for the latter; Hercules: The Legend Begins.

The full teaser trailer will debut at this weekend's New York Comic Con. It's hard to take the movie too seriously when it was rushed into production to beat Brett Ratner's adaptation of graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars, but it doesn't look...awful?! Either way, it's somehow hard to imagine Lutz topping what wrestler turned actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will bring to the iconic mythological character. What do you guys think? Kellan Lutz would be absolutely PERFECT for Aquaman!

Unfortunately, it looks like this movie is trying to be too much like Spartacus. I would've never guessed he was playing Hercules. At least Ratner's movie makes it easy and obvious when it comes to picking out Hercules.

I know I may get crap for it but he would've been a better replacement for Andy Whitfield in Spartacus than Liam McIntyre.... AND he would be a great Prince Adam in MotU.

If this Hercules is a Gladiator then Arnolds Hercules in New York is more faithful to the lore.
