Now that is what a G.I. Joe movie is supposed to look like! I'm a big fan of the animated show. That was the show that I ran home from school just to make sure I didn't miss an episode and it looks like John Chu is gonna help erase that stink bomb of a first film that Stephen Sommers puked up. Yo Joe!



G.I. Joe: Retaliation is directed by Jon Chu and will star: Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock, Channing Tatum as Duke, Ray Park as Snake Eyes, Bruce Willis as Joe Colton, Ray Stevenson as Firefly, Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye, and Lee Byung-Hun as Storm Shadow. The film hits theaters June 29, 2012.

Rest of the trailer is awesome, other than a handful of cheesy lines and not enough Bruce Willis.

After seeing the awesomness in the trailer (the darker story, the more military look of the Joes, all the action from the ninja fight to the gunfires, The Rock and Bruce Willis, and not to mention Cobra Commander's new look), I just have to post this one video.

@Thetruth007- well i hated the first film but by no means do i like the twilight films thats for damn sure.

The first movie was horrible, I grew up watching the original g.i. joes and was pretty excited when i heard they were making a live action movie, but once i had heard who was being casted as who i was in tears. All im going to say is tatum effing channing is a very very very bad actor and was so miscasted as duke. seriously hip-hop as duke? and anyone who thinks he did a good job or even an ok job is by no means a g.i. joe fan to me. the only thing i liked about the first film was snake eyes and storm shadow but that was pretty much it. Cobra commander was another character they miscasted to the core. geeze can't believe i saw it in theaters. ill admit this one looks BETTER, but im still not going to go see it, ill just wait until it comes to dvd. they should have added some snowjob and beach head in this one as well.

way better than I was expecting, and a good way to kill off the bad from the first and bring on the new and the good shit without doing a quick reboot...good writers know how to change a series without rebooting.

All I could think of when the red ninjas were climbing the mountain was Deadpool.

Looks like they have definitely improved, can't wait to see it!

Looks sweet! Cobra Commander gets his mask, Marlon Wayons is gone, the forgettable supporting actors from the first are gone, no sign of the crappy armor from the paris chase scene and......Snake Eyes mask doesn't have LIPS!!!!!

Since the first movie was so bad they killed of the cast except for Snakeeyes, and added the Rock and Bruce Willis so we won't have to care about supporting characters... I like.

@jimdlux she was in like the 3rd season of smallville that lasted for 7 more seasons, and is getting a sequel book, dont just refrence the WW pilot
