First Look At ARROW's Suicide Squad

The CW have released first look images of Arrow's Suicide Squad, and the initial line-up will consist of Bronze Tiger, Shrapnel, Deadshot, Lyla Michaels, Diggle and Amanda Waller. The "Suicide Squad" episode won't air until next month, but you can get a sneak peek right here!

Thanks to Comic Book Resources, we have a first look at Arrow's Suicide Squad. This early iteration of the team consists of Ben Turner/Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White), Mark Scheffer/Shrapnel (Sean Maher), Floyd Lawton/Deadshot (Michael Rowe), Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson), series regular Diggle (David Ramsey) and Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson). Earlier this month, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg was quoted as saying, "Dig was our way into Amanda Waller, and in this episode, Amanda comes to Dig and Lyla, and she recruits Dig for a mission, and tells him he's going to need a team -- and she saddles him with the Suicide Squad." @WombRaider: No. As Josh's article clearly states, Waller approaches Diggle for a mission and pairs him up with the Squad for it. It's probably just one time thing as a way to introduce the team to the viewers without just making the episode a straight up Suicide Squad pilot.

I surprised they didn't bring back China White, even though she wasn't in the SS comic it would have made sense for the show version.

Arrow is basically a soap opera with "superheroes". I prefer Agents of SHIELD.
