Roy Freaks Out In New ARROW "Blind Spot" Clip

ARROW TEAMS UP WITH LAUREL TO FIND THE MAN IN THE MASK — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is conflicted after Laurel (Katie Cassidy) reaches out to the Arrow asking him to investigate Sebastian Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). Oliver is unsure whether to believe her accusations against the man he has publically supported for mayor, but decides to trust Laurel. However, when the pair gets too close to the truth, Sebastian exposes Laurel’s drug addiction and has her arrested. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) reveals his new super-strength to Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) who wants to test out his abilities. Unfortunately, Roy isn’t able to contain his rage once unleashed and almost kills a man. Back on the island, Oliver is surprised when Sarah (guest star Caity Lotz) reveals a secret about Laurel. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Beth Schwartz (#211).

Why is this dude being typecast as an asshole in every role? Guess he's got that look...

Tell ya one thing, looks like Katie Cassidy is screwing with her looks, not sure if it's plastic surgery or what, but she's definitely going the Megan Fox route of [frick]ing with her face...too bad, used to think she was gorgeous...still hot, but last episode, not so good (again, relatively speaking)...

Didn't Roy have a drug addiction in the comics? Maybe that will play in here. Roy will start taking drugs to stop his violent attacks and abnormal strength but it will wind up hurting him so Oliver brings him in to help him control it. Idk, just a thought.

@batz11 I've noticed her jaw is sickly thin looking. And the skin even goes up into it under the jaw.

I thought she was just starving herself. But if shes having surgeries on her face, she truly needs some mental health help before she does more damage.

Not enough intensity from the actor here. Just a blank, vacant stare and emotion. Not exactly "rage".

I feel like we are going off the path of what made Arrow awesome...But ok whatever..Give Roy Super powers and maybe a Green Goblin Snowboard glider and I guess we will be all set for season 3....

I was going to point out what parts were cheesy in this clip, but right from the opening camera angle of the car, right up until the teeny bopper says to call an ambulance, proves why this show is the Camembert cheese of television.

Yeah guys, maybe it is just weight loss, but exactly, last episode I really noticed it, her chin and jaw 'looked' much more pointed and thin, think maybe her eyebrows different too...she's still pretty, but something is different...
MCU4TheWin
MCU4TheWin - 1/21/2014, 4:45 PM
Drama and Cheese are two completely different things. How many times in Lost, did the camera zoom in on Jack's face while he was snarling to show he was upset?

And Green Arrow's voice? You have to be kidding me. Worst acting ever.

Call an ambulance? If one kick sent him over the car, the next 4 up against that support crushed his lungs. Which I can live with, but found hilarious.

@DestroyerofHaters You're right and this kind of stuff gets in film and TV because writers have no idea what they're writing with fights, action and damage to the human body. I like this show but they are playing loose with injuries and how they would really impact people.
Like how Oliver stabbed Merlyn by running an Arrow through his own chest. Diggle getting shot and it's just flesh wounds.

It is very inconsistent to have Harper be capable of kicking a 200lb man over a car but not kill him with solid kicks to the torso. And writers are inconsistent as hell with most CBM action. In Raimi's Spider-Man, Peter marveled at how Flash seemed to be standing still as he tried to hit him. But from that point on non superspeed blows connected very easy from various opponents.

Bane could smash concrete but in the 2nd fight Batman could withstand blows to the face by Bane and Batman only has the ability to dodge, block and avoid hits if he's fighting goons. The Big Bosses somehow easily hit Batman with swings that are the same speed or even more obvious and sloppy than the goons.
