TRUE BLOOD's Janina Gavankar Joins The Cast Of ARROW

The True Blood star is yet another wonderful addition to the cast of CW's hit series Arrow. Janina Gavankar will be playing a Starling City police officer, and we've got more details on the role after the jump.

According to Zap2It, True Blood's Janina Gavankar has joined the cast of Arrow in a major recurring police officer role. Her character is named McKenna Hall and is described as "a vice cop with the Starling City Police Department. Tough, sexy, and considerably formidable, McKenna has a complicated history with Oliver." Hall also dealt with Oliver before he shipwrecked on the island, when he was the usual badboy, something we got a glimpse of in Arrow #1: Special Edition. What do you think of this casting? I think its interesting, I Only saw the pilot and read scripts form true blood. so I can only wait to see her.

I freaking love Arrow

Even the extremely corny lines and moments have some weird charm.

The OST is just unbelievably good as is the action. Besides the mother and Thea, I actually care for all the characters.

This and Person of Interest are best shows not on AMC or HBO

I gotta admit Arrow is like my guilty pleasure. The show has cool action, looks, and actors (somebody get Oliver a damn acting coach) but it also has some pretty bad dialog, and ridiculous scenes, still I hope lil miss hottie here sticks around long enough for Ollie boy to get some action since the Laurel thing is looking like it might take a while.

I have really liked Arrow up until this week. The way they handled the Royal Flush Gang was pretty weak, as far as I am concerned.
