At this very moment, Marvel Comics is well and truly into their Secret Wars crossover event, which has found great success. But a crossover event can't go on forever, and when Secret Wars finishes up, Marvel will be launching its All-New All-Different initiative, a line-wide relaunch, showcasing all-new teams, all-different ideas, and characters from other universe's (i.e. Miles Morales from Earth-1610, also known as the Ultimate Universe) joining Earth-616, the mainstream Marvel Universe.

Marvel has already announced all of its #1's that will be released this October, but we're still only just finding out about some of their series that will be launching in December, and now, thanks to an EXCLUSIVE posted by Comicbook.com, we now know of one more: Guardians of Infinity! The comic will essentially be a series featuring multiple generations of Guardians, including the Guardians of The GalaxyGuardians 3000, and... wait, the Guardians 1000? Seeing as though the Guardians 3000 are titled that due to them hailing from the 31st Century, so it makes sense to assume that the Guardians 1000 would hail from the 11th Century, yes? If that is the case, it sure would be cool to get a look into what Marvel's Cosmic universe was like back in those days. Every issue will also feature a back-up story courtesy of some of Marvel's top talent, and the first issue will feature a story by Jason Latour and Jim Cheung, in which Rocket Raccoon and The Thing get stuck on a planet where the culture is based on "Earth-style professional wrestling". You can check out the offiicial synopsis and cover below:

IN THE INFINITE EXPANSE OF TIME AND SPACE IS THERE ROOM FOR MORE GUARDIANS? YOU BET THERE IS!

Defending the galaxy is a good gig, but Drax isn’t thrilled with the combat hours (not enough of them) and Rocket isn’t thrilled with the compensation (not enough of it). They’re off on an adventure to supplement both, and Groot is happy to come along. But instead of the perks they want, they’re about to get more trouble than they can handle. Good thing the Guardians 3000 are on hand to help! But what about…THE GUARDIANS 1000??!!

Also in this issue, Latour and Cheung tell a one-off story of Ben Grimm and Rocket Raccoon, stuck on a planet where culture is based on Earth-style professional wrestling…but the stakes are life and death! THIS AIN’T KAYFABE, BROTHER!

What do you guys think? Are you excited for the new series, or are you worried Marvel is releasing too many Guardians related series following the massive success of the film? Sound off in the comments below, and don't forget to share and hit that like button!

Well, it's better than a Groot ongoing series at least. (Seriously Marvel, WTF is that.)
