Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to release on Digital platforms this Friday, and ET has debuted a brief gag-reel featuring fun times on the set of what will most likely be James Gunn's final GOTG movie (if not his last Marvel Studios film, full stop).
The video includes out-takes, line-flubs, and shots of the cast having a laugh as they prepare to shoot their scenes. There are also a few moments that appear to be taken from alternate scenes that didn't end up in the theatrical cut.
Vol. 3 will finish its box office run with a very respectable $835M+ global haul, making it the most profitable comic book movie of the year so far.
Gunn has made it clear that this will be his last Guardians movie, but that doesn't mean a different incarnation of the team won't feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at some point with a new director. In the mid-credits scene, we find out that Rocket is now leading a new crew, and the final title card all-but confirms Chris Pratt's eventual return as "The Legendary Star-Lord."

"In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past." "Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."
Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova. Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now in theaters.
