Today marked Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's long-awaited Disney+ debut. For those of you who either missed the movie in theaters or just can't wait to watch it again, now is the perfect time to catch up with the MCU's fan-favourite A-Holes.

This final chapter of James Gunn's trilogy marked his Marvel Studios farewell before he took charge of DC Studios and the new DCU. Next up for the filmmaker is Superman: Legacy, and if what he brings to the table there is as good as what we saw in this movie...well, the Man of Steel's franchise is in good hands.

Now, we have a new poster for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and a promo featuring some fun moments from the blockbuster which grossed just shy of $850 million worldwide.

"As heart-wrenching as it is hilarious," we said in our review earlier this year, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is James Gunn’s masterstroke and a showcase for both his filmmaking talent and a cast that makes everything about this movie simply awesome. An absolute triumph."

Check out this new material celebrating the threequel's Disney+ launch below.

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova.

Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now streaming on Disney+.

@joshwilding House of Dragon s2 has not stopped production....it's a UK series. Learn to do actual research. Consider a junior college journalism course...

@McMurdo - It's not about lack of career, it's about lack of grey material.

Safe to say it's the best cbm of this year, all the other ones were mediocre at best.

I was mildly disappointed until the third act. A major part of that is the music; I hated every tune except for Dog Days Are Over at the end.

@JDL - I pretty much agree. Weird because Gunn picked every song on the Volume 1 soundtrack, which was a great collection of 70s songs, and then Vol 2's and Vol 3's soundtracks were disappointing.

It was a good movie. 7.5 out of 10. Gunn over-cooked the middle-school humor, which by Act III had become a drag on the movie. The other distraction was Adam Warlock. Completely misused, didn't look like the comic book character at all, very disappointing.

@GeneralZod - I'm glad you brought up Adam Warlock. I didn't enjoy that take at all.

I finally got around to it yesterday, LOVED it ! It's great that the GotG could stick the landing with a trilogy. Though I'm afraid this will be the last MCU movie I buy before Deadpool 3, and then, who knows...

I like guardians but part of me wished Peter Quill was the only human being in outer space. Humans are everywhere with no explanation lol
