"We'll all fly away together, one last time, into the forever and beautiful sky.”

Promotion for Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has kicked into high gear now that tickets are on sale and the movie's release date is drawing near, and on the heels of Empire Magazine's cover spotlighting the core team, we have some new stills, a subscriber cover featuring Rocket, and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

The video includes interviews with director James Gunn and several members of the cast, and we also get some new footage, as Star-Lord and his crew prepare to face the music and take one last ride.

"In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past." "Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."

Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova. Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.

I can't get over how good the team looks in those suits.

That banner is when it happens.

They're flying through space, then she turns around and tells Adam warlock "you have to suck his dick".

Those suits are great. Wish they would have had those the whole time.

@DocSpock - why do you think?

@Ryguy88 -

Gunn is really only concerned with his GotG finish & doesn't care about further tying into the larger MCU.

@DocSpock - yeah, but it's still the mcu. Bare minimum warlock will be written to leave the possibility to return.

@Origame -

I hope so.

But I doubt it.

The suits are pretty badass. Warlock's suit looks good as well.

This is something I’m worried about: they give us the DnA suits, but we never get Star Lord’s helmet.

I haven't heard anything so this is not a spoiler... But I have a feeling Warlock will ultimately be the one to destroy the high evolutionary.

@MarkCassidy - if High Evolutionary is basically a god, makes sense the ultra powerful dude is the one to take him down

James Gunn casually mentions that a Marvel/DC crossover has already been talked about. https://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/james-gunn-talks-potential-marvel-dc-crossover-exclusive/

I'm ready to be disappointed... again. It would've been nice to make Drax a secret villain the entire time, who's playing a lovable brute to fit in, but nahhh- let's just make him the noticeably stupid, verbal punching bag for Quill. Batista deserved better. Much better.

My only interest is who died, and how does that affect the important characters moving forward.

Bring on the F4 & X-Men. These guys did a good round, but I'm ready for the most popular characters to be on full display, in an
Alonso-less universe.

I don't know what it is but this guy just doesn't scream Adam Warlock at all. He looks kind of.....weird.
