Star-Lord Drops The MCU's First F-Bomb In New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Clip

It's censored here, but in this latest clip from James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) drops the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first ever F-bomb!

Well, it seems James Gunn finally convinced Kevin Feige to let him throw an actual F-bomb into an MCU movie!

In this latest clip from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) is rushing the crew into action as they prepare to face-off against The High Evolutionary's forces. When Nebula (Karen Gillan) has some trouble getting the car door open, Quill walks her through it, before getting increasingly frustrated and telling his teammate to "open the f*cking door."

It's censored here, but almost certainly won't be in the movie itself.

Check out the clip below, and let us know what you think.

"In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past." "Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."

Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova. Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.

@JonAwesome - Didn't the Notebook lady dropped an F-bomb in Multiverse of Madness? When they're running from Liz Olsen and there's that jump scare she very quickly screams "[frick]!". It's so quick and panicked that you can't really hear it unless you're listening for it.

I'm so in for this movie. And I love that Quill is very clearly matured compared to the first film; he just feels different. Not too fond of Nebula though so far; her personality change is very drastic and seems a little forced.

That looks like a Groot suit. I guess they are trying to save on CGI, which is perhaps one of the reasons they set this in what looks like a residential neighborhood.

@TyrantBossMedia - uhm the story demands a residential neighborhood to deal with regular folks cause they dont exist in vacuums of space or planetary asteroid belts with rings of fire maybe?
Kingdork

@TyrantBossMedia - Groot is fully CG. You should check the Christmas special VFX breakdown.

@supermanrex - Look at the people in the background. Do they look like “regular people” to you.

@Kingdork - If he is full CG I’ll be impressed
supermanrex
supermanrex - 4/21/2023, 6:03 PM
@TyrantBossMedia - yeah. they are regular for their society and they can live in neighborhoods too. aliens dont always equal exotic environments. especially when they are based off of human society dude.

@supermanrex - Did you even understand my original post?
DarthOmega
DarthOmega - 4/21/2023, 7:48 PM
@TyrantBossMedia - I wouldn't be surprised if that's just a guy in a suit. He looks a bit clunky. Not like the tall CG creation or the baby and Teenager. They could easily put a guy in this.
TyrantBossMedia
TyrantBossMedia - 4/21/2023, 8:16 PM
@DarthOmega - That's what I saw as well. You can CGI some of the details on the suit and any of the super abilities, but why CGI something when you can just make it a suit.

supermanrex - 4/24/2023, 9:46 AM
@TyrantBossMedia - yeah. you said they were doing residential setting to save money. i said they were doing the setting because the story demands a residential setting. this movie was made before Iger came back and got tighter with the Disney Purse.

Star lord being familiar with earth technology and getting frustrated with the others for not picking up on it is a really funny bit

bkmeijer1 - 4/21/2023, 6:06 PM
@The72nd - would kinda expect the opposite. If anyone learned to drive a car, Nebula is probably the most likely given her time on Earth between 2018 and 2023

Just watched Ant-Man.

Sorry Majors fans, this guy can act but he's awful in this movie.

Also, what the hell was Kathryn Newton? I'm sure she didn't have to read because in one minute watching this girl you can tell this role wasn't for her.
