GHOSTBUSTERS Cast Reunite For This Week's EW Cover
This will probably be the closest we get to seeing original Ghostbusters cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver back in those spook-logo outfits.
"We called up the original Ghostbusters and convinced Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Dan Aykroyd, Ivan Reitman, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts to don the famous ghost logo once more as they shared stories about auditions, the Ghostbusters legacy, and the late Harold Ramis."
Does this mean they'll be a part of the new movie? Unfortunately not, as last we heard that's still being set up to be a full reboot ...though there were recent whispers of director Paul Feig wanting Bill Murray on board. How would that work? Who the hell knows; for now I guess we'll settle for this cover and await the sure-to-be frowned upon reveal of the new cast.
