During a fun Q&A session with Entertainment Weekly, the four heroines of Paul Feig's upcoming Ghostbusters reboot were asked: Who would win? The Ghostbusters or the Avengers?... and while, they entertained the silly question for a bit, star Leslie Jones swiftly ended the debate with a clear-cut answer: "The Avengers."
The popular magazine has released their latest cover, which you can view at the bottom of this article, featuring the film's four stars, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, suited up and ready to end New York City's ghost problem once and for all. During the cover shoot, the four of them sat down for an extensive roundtable where Wiig described that while they hope to leave their own unique mark on the world, they also wanted to honor the original duology's legacy as much as they could: "You can’t get better than the original, But it’s a different movie, it’s a different cast, it’s many years later, and we’ve also done things that are different. It’s not just about it starring women.”
There's plenty of other great content as well as the quartet discuss a variety of topics, including the original cast cameos, the perfection that is Chris Hemsworth, and the unnecessary sexist backlash. Check it all out HERE.
