Paramount Pictures has released over thirty new hi-resolution stills from the eagerly-awaited Scream, sharing another look at the new Ghostface stalking their latest batch of potential victims. It looks like things are looking direr than ever for Woodsboro's teenage suspects.
We also have a new "Return To Woodsboro" featurette, spotlighting the returns of horror icons Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, and David Arquette as Dewey Riley.
In related news, the first reactions to the new film have made their way online, and they're absolutely glowing. Critics are calling Scream, "brutal," "genius" and the "best since the original," amongst other things, which is certainly promising as we inch closer and closer to its grand opening.
The new cast features Melissa Barrera (Vida; Dos Veces Tú) as Sam Carpenter, Dylan Minnette (Prisoners; 13 Reasons Why) as Wes Hicks, Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers; For The People) as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin; Iron Man 3) as Tara Carpenter, Jack Quaid (The Boys; The Hunger Games) as Richie Kirsch, Mason Gooding (Booksmart; Love, Victor) as Chad Meeks-Martin, newcomer Sonia Ammar as Liv McKenzie, Mikey Madison (Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood; Better Things) as Amber Freeman, and Kyle Gallner (Smallville; American Sniper) as Vince.
Additionally, Marley Shelton will reprise her Scream 4 role as Sheriff Judy Hicks, while Roger L. Jackson is back as the legendary voice of Ghostface.
Radio Silence duo Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) directed the fifth installment with a screenplay from James Vanderbilt (Zodiac; The Amazing Spider-Man) and Guy Busick (Ready or Not; Castle Rock). Franchise creator Kevin Williamson is onboard as an executive producer.
