The second season of Netflix's mega-popular horror drama series, Stranger Things, returns just in time for Halloween, and the show's official Twitter account has debuted a batch of character posters to build anticipation.

The banners feature returning favorites such as Eleven, Chief Hopper and the Byers family, but we also get a glimpse of some of the new faces that will be introduced: Sadie Sink as Max, and Dacre Montgomery as the new human antagonist, Billy.

There will also be a new (and reportedly even more terrifying) monster to replace the Demogorgon, but were're going to have to wait until October for a better look at that, of course.

Curious to know why people love this series so much because I watched it a few days ago and aside from the kids who are pretty fun to watch, the horror/mystery aspect is not well done. The monster and the evil scientist is so very boring.

The synth music in the intro is awesome though, but I don't think the show lives up to it.

@KIDCOM - ...some of us grew up in the 80's so it may be a little more nostalgic and a reminder of how great some of the movies about kids were back then like Goonies, Monster Squad, Stand by Me, E.T. and many more!

@KingNomarch - obviously, a kid actor as Billy Batson and then a adult as Shazam.

That's not news.

Love this show. Also, Millie Bobby Brown has always been fantastic playing a creepy kid. She was downright scary in The Intruders. Still bummed that show was cancelled.
