RESULTS: What Is Your Favorite Marvel Studios Movie So Far?

Nope, he's still there! With 1,122 Votes (34.79%) it seems the original Marvel Studios movie is still the best in the majority of CBMers eyes. I can't argue with that. The rest of the movies fell in pretty much as expected too. With Captain America: TFA in second place with 898 Votes (27.84%). Thor and The Incredible Hulk were close with The God Of Thunder just beating The Green Goliath. And then last, and by all means least John Favreau's disappointing Iron Man 2.



I really thought Cap might clinch it this time. Reading your comments these results wouldn't even seem accurate. I saw a lot of love for THI and quite a bit of Cap bashing, as well as many coming to the defense of Iron Man 2. Anyway, I think we can all agree that Marvel have made very few mistakes in their build up to The Avengers. Lets hope Joss Whedon pulls it off and Iron Man if finally knocked of the top spot in future polls.

These are all four-star-plus movies, and collectively one of my favorite film series of all time. I really hope The Avengers delivers and blows the rest of them out of the water!

I couldn't agree more with the results! They're very accurate to my tastes. Having said that though, i'm still anticipating the Special Edition Blu-Ray of THOR more than any other. It's the one film i felt like i wanted to see more of(not that i felt it suffered from it), while the others were perfectly fulfilling. GIMME MORE THOR!!!

I guess outside the U.S. Iron Man got many more votes than Captain America. I think Iron Man and Hulk are more popular outside the U.S.A.

I recently saw IM2 again with my wife, and let me tell you that having seen the other four movies places this one in a whole new level, it went from a C+ to a B++ at least.

Iron Man deserves this accolade. Iron Man 2 however deserves the accolade for WORST Marvel Studios film to date. Too many iron men running around. The only thing that saved Iron Man 2 from being the worst of the Marvel bunch all together was Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer. IMHO he makes that movie worth watching again considering all the action scenes last about 2 minutes.

Iron Man 2 wasn't that good. You just love it because it has connections to the other films...which is really, REALLY cool but as far as a quality stand alone film goes...it's not THAT good and certainly doesn't touch the first one. It doesn't even come close to the quality of the others films and couldn't have been more contrived and with all them extra iron men running around it really took away from the spectacle that is Iron Man. Not to mention the insanely brief and sub-par action scenes...hell Jon Favreau isn't even a fan of it and he directed it. Anyways THAT'S why everyone is "downing" Iron Man 2...because it wasn't very good especially compared to the others mentioned above like you said: you can't put it above the others.

I know what you mean. i watched it again with my girlfriend and having seen the other films it helps IM2 seem like a better movie. It at least makes more sense to me now having seen Captain America.
