With the trailer expected soon, Warner Bros. have released the above pic of Brolin as Hex. I really hope this film is as good as its cast would suggest..with or without the eye!

Jonah Hex is scheduled to arrive in theaters June 18, 2010.

It's obvious why hey didn't go full on "half-faced" because it would resemble Two-Face too much and the general audience would think Hex was ripping him off or something.

That actually looks pretty good. The film itself could be shitty, and there probably won't be much money made, but that face looks good.

I am a long time reader of Jonah Hex and have seen him portrayed in many different ways and styles and while I agree the eye was a trademark look, the strip of his skin over his mouth was an even bigger physical attribute that was portrayed throughout. He did not have "the eye" in every comic it really just depended on the artist drawing him. But i still would have liked to see it.

Minus the eye, he looks a lot like Hex, yet, most of you can't get over one small detail... crybaby purists I say. You folks who nit-pic shit like this will NEVER be happy with anything they do in CBM's, and I wager this attitude is reflected in your personal lives as well.

I like it. If his eyes was exposed like 2 Face's in the Dark Knight it would dry up and die instantly. If you can't blink the eye is in trouble...

ok ok MYTH i overdid it with the teen titans comment but DAMN my mother who is pushin 65 is a HUGE jonah hex fan (its because of her i read comics, she gave me my 1st issue of BATMAN when i was old enuff to read) and even she dissed the pic she said lol that the only actor that could pull off JONAH HEX is Clint Eastwood she said BROLIN looks too pretty lmao
