INJUSTICE Stills Feature Batman Confronting The Joker, Plastic Man, Mister Terrific, And More

A new batch of stills from the upcoming Injustice animated movie have been released featuring some key moments and characters, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Joker...

In Injustice, an unthinkable tragedy propels Superman into a dangerous new mindset, ultimately pitting Justice League members against each other in what is clearly going to be a brutal, bloody movie if the recent red-band trailer is any indication! The feature-length animated film is set for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on October 19, and is based on the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game.

Now, four new stills have been released from the movie highlighting some key characters.

As you can see, Superman appears to be in the midst of a tense meeting with Mister Terrific, while Batman and The Joker look moments away from coming to blows. Fans of the Injustice comic books and video games will obviously know what comes next.

There are also a couple of great shots of Wonder Woman and Raven confronting Mirror Master and a new look at Plastic Man, a character likely to steal the show based on Injustice's trailers.

The ensemble cast is incredible, and includes names like Justin Hartley (Superman), Anson Mount (Batman), Janet Varney (Wonder Woman), Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog) as Catwoman, Reid Scott (Green Arrow), Gillian Jacobs (Harley Quinn) Oliver Hudson (Plastic Man), Laura Bailey (Lois Lane), Faran Tahir (Ra’s al Ghul), and Yuri Lowenthal (Mirror Master).

That barely scratches the surface of the actors who will bring these DC Comics characters to life in Injustice. Matt Peters (Justice League Dark: Apokolips War) directs from a screenplay by Ernie Altbacker (Batman: Hush). We recently spoke to them and producer Rick Morales, so stay tuned.

Check out these new stills from Injustice below:

this movie was abysmal. DC animation has gone downhill for over a decade with the exception of barley Quinn.

@tmp3 - yes, both parts. Apart from that, hush, killing joke and the majority of the others have been mediocre to bad.

Compared to their pre-2010 movies of course.

Saw it a few days ago. Not really a good adaptation imo. Lots of characters were cut & storylines we're rushed.
& just when I thought a certain death couldn't get anymore stupid then it already was...

I was shocked at the amount of negativity surrounding the movie. Some beats were definitely rushed, but it still had plenty of fan service. Maybe after more people view it, there'll be more positivity. But probably not.😂

Thought this was really bad. Insanely rushed, nothing feels developed at all

@tmp3 - I was thinking with the success of Invincible, HBO would do an Injustice series using the comics stories. Guess they just rushed it all into one movie

It looks bad from the trailers. And how do you not bring Conroy back? These movies have been getting worse. For me anyway. Last ones I really liked was Year One and Dark Knight Returns.

@micvalpro - Assault on Arkham, Long Halloween, Flashpoint, Death Of Superman, Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay & Justice League: Gods and Monsters were all excellent in my opinion. Those all came after Year One & Dark Knight Returns.

I never read the comics, but did read up on some of the backstory and saw some panels of the stories this movie seems to be adapting. And based on the little I know (and the reviews and comments), I'm still looking forward to this

Man they really took a lot of shortcuts with this one. Lol this would've served better as a duology i.e Death/Reign of Superman.

The worst of all was the ending. ***SPOILERS*** I'm glad they also brought in a different Lois along with our Superman, but there was no resolution at all. The film just sort of... ended right after that scene...
