JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Ray Fisher Blasts WarnerMedia Following "Racial Equity & Social Justice" Tweet

WarnerMedia sent out a Tweet following last night's guilty verdicts against former police officer Derek Chauvin, and it did not sit very well with Ray Fisher. Find out what the ZSJL actor had to say here.

Ray Fisher has publicly put WarnerMedia on blast yet again, this time for their response to last night's announcement that former police officer Derek Chauvin has been found guilty of the murder of George Floyd.

The following was sent from the WarnerMedia Twitter account.

"While this verdict doesn’t bring back those we’ve so wrongly lost, we know that it brings us closer to significant change. We reaffirm our commitment to be a part of the solution by using our platforms… to advance racial equity and social justice."

As you can imagine, this didn't sit very well with the Zack Snyder's Justice League star, who has repeatedly called out various WarnerMedia execs for sweeping his accusations against the likes of Joss Whedon, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada under the rug.

In a recent THR piece, Fisher elaborated on the "highly inappropriate and racist" behavior he witnessed on the set of Justice League after Whedon was brought on board for reshoots.

Clearly seeing WarnerMedia's Tweet as hypocritical (to say the least), Fisher responded:

Cyborg showing up in The Flash movie is looking less and less likely!

What do you guys make of WarnerMedia's Tweet and Fisher's rebuke? Drop us a comment down below.

Fisher is just being hypocritical here. He is just reminding us of (and judging) WB's past mistakes, even though he himself wants things to change.

Maybe it would help if he instead would guide WB, instead of shutting them down.

How beating on a dead horse repeatedly brings you nowhere closer to what you actually want.

How does that make Ray angry? Doesn't he want positive change? Doesn't he want a good message to get put out?

I understand his thinking "they wronged me, how dare they claim they stand against racism" but it's so skewed by his own opinion regarding the situation.

Ray is more than likely right in what he is saying, its just that he has ceased to be the right messenger to deliver a rebuke since every time he opens his mouth, which admittedly is a lot, he is chastised for more of who he is than what he is saying.

@Mugens - He's talking out of both sides of his mouth.
He calls Hamada the "worst of enablers" but still wants to work for him.
One side of his mouth is, "How DARE you Warner Media!" while the other side is "How DARE you not apologize to me and give me a job, Warner Media!"

@Mugens - he has never been the right messenger.
He played ball with the Joss Whedon praise after JL hit theatres, then started to release vague and unspecific allegations that held themselves for over a year of frustrating back and forth until other victims had to get specific to validate his point.

From that point on he shifted his crusade at other people and changed the tune from "abuse" to "racism".

I agree that he had a point but what this has turned into right now is more akin to a celebrity clinging to his last inch of fame rather than a just cause.

@Blergh - He was the right messenger the first time he opened his mouth, even if he didn't state it the way most people would have liked, and mainly because no one else had spoken up about what had transpired. But ever since then, yeah I would agree with your assessment.

This dude has to make everything about himself, and honestly, it's disgusting. He's equating his petty workplace grievances with actual injustices that people go through.

At this point the only way to shut this dude up is to hit him with slander suits.
