JUSTICE LEAGUE Theatrical Run Kicks-Off With An $8.5 Million Opening Day At Nine International Markets
Justice League doesn't officially open in US theatres until tomorrow, but the Zack Snyder-helmed DC team-up movie has already hit several international markets, and is off to a pretty good start at the BO.
Justice League is expected to have a decent opening weekend at the US box office, but Zack Snyder's follow-up to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has already kicked-off its theatrical run internationally.

The DC flick opened yesterday in nine markets including Korea, France and Brazil (where it actually broke the record for the highest-grossing opening day in history) and has already taken in $8.5 million. Comparatively, Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok grossed just over $28 million internationally on its first 3 days of release.
Justice League is tracking slightly lower than initial estimates suggested, but it's still expected to amass between $325 – $355 million globally over the weekend. Not bad, but when you consider that Batman V Superman took in $422.5 million, the studio may still look at it as a disappointment.
