What does Mindy Macready (Moretz) get up to in Kick-Ass 2? The breakout teen star from the first Kick-Ass film tells you what to expect.

"There's going to get a bit more romance, a much more grown up Mindy Macready. Someone who's questioning themself and whether they are a villain, assassin or a vigilante and a hero. So there's a lot of tormented inner self, it's interesting.

It's been amazing revising the character and showing her more grown up and more adult and more put together. It's been a lot of fun."

Moretz (16) co-stars with Aaron Taylor-Johnson (22) in the film and as the two primary protagonists, they seem like an obivous pairing. Of course, you never know for certain until the curtain drops and the reel starts to roll. Do you want to see a romantic relationship between Mindy and Dave?

Moretz can also be seen later this year in the remake of Carrie. Kick-Ass 2 hits U.S. theaters June 28th.

Milla Jovavich was 17 in The 5th Element. How many drooled over her in that movie. They had to wait til her birthday to film the final make out scene with Bruce Willis. It's not like Aaron and Chloe are actually dating or even doing it.

Hell considering how old Hit-Girl is in the film continuity, and the experiences she and Kick-Ass have been through... it actually kind of makes sense if they became a couple.

Plus in-universe, Dave was 14-15, Hit-Girl was 10-12. The character's ages aren't too distant.

Comic-wise, it would never work. In this continuity though... I may just start shipping the two together.

not that I agree with it, because i have a daughter myself, but the legal age of consent in the majority of the US (30 states) is 16 years old. 17 in 9 states, and 18 in 12 states... Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, North Dakota, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania...again, as a father of a beautiful daughter, I prefer the age of consent to be 18 or higher, but these are the laws and as far as this scene goes, it doesn't really bother me...there probably isn't any kind of romantic connection between these characters..probably just an emotional scene..a one time thing, but that's just my take on it

@KamenRiderJ22 Oh make no mistake. In my mind, any crush Hit-Girl might have on Dave would be one-sided, precocious and ultimately go away. But I don't think that, given what they've both been through, it would be TOO much of a stretch if they became a couple (though as weaponX2 pointed out, it's probably just an emotional scene).

I don't know what kind of love interest would be able to relate to what Mindy's been through short of a crossover pairing with Damian Wayne.

And character age wise, I'm pretty sure they are closer in age. Though the actors only have a 6 year age difference, which isn't really bad.
