This action figure is sure as hell not the Man of Steel but he is the Man of Alloy. Play Imaginative, known for making alloy action figures, are releasing the 1/6th Scale Super Alloy NEW 52 Superman for Pre-Order. Made with over 90% die-cast metal material and fully articulated, this figure has to be the ultimate Superman action figure. did the donner films create the fortress as crystals? or was it before the film? and I dont like how they create superman like some teen heart throb lol he looks miles cooler in certain comics

The biggest problem with the New 52 Superman suit is when it stops looking like a skin tight alien suit with segments and an armor sheen and texture despite how form fitting it is (pretty much the Jim Lee/Ken Rocafort renders).

When it actually begins to look like a garden variety bulky armor, it not only accentuates how unnecessary it is, but it loses what little cool factor it does have and just looks plain ugly.

This figure is very much the latter version.

LOVE the collar.

Love the armor.

Love the belt.

Love the boots.

Love the way his sleeves are where they meet his hands.

I hope the tired old Superman costume never returns!

I am thrilled they changed it. It's superior even to the Man of Steel suit design. I love this one. This is the Best design of all time.

Love DC for doing this to Superman.
