LEGO announced two new sets at the New York Comic Con today, one based around THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, and the other giving the animated ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN some love.

I never really understood why the Amazing Spider-Man /movie Spider-Man gets this crappy megablocks stuff instead of proper LEGO sets. The one in charge of that decision should be fired.

@TimL lego sold the rights after spiderman 2, which is why there was only megabloks for spiderman 3, and now for TASM. lego wanted to tie spiderman into their marvel line, so i guess ultimate spiderman was the best decision. i'm so glad i have the original spiderman 1 and 2 sets, the ultimates are so ugly.
