MORTAL KOMBAT Funko POPs Are Finally On The Way; First Wave Includes Sub Zero, Scorpion, Kitana And More

Funko collectors have been hoping to see POPs based on the characters from the Mortal Kombat video game series for years now, and it's finally been announced that the first wave is on its way. Take a look.

Funko has announced that a series of POP vinyls based on characters from the Mortal Kombat video games are finally hitting stores this winter.

The first wave will include some of the most popular combatants from the original game: Sub Zero, Scorpion, Liu Kang, Raiden, and a super-sized Goro. There's also Kitana from MKII, a Scorpion/Sub Zero double-pack, and an awesome Hot Topic exclusive Scorp without his hood. Yes, he does look quite a bit like Ghost Rider here.
