This statue is just too awesome not to give everyone a heads up on. While conducting my usual Internet searches, this image hit my browser and I was completely floored. Bowen Designs usually does great things with every Marvel character, but this goes above and beyond anything they have done before.

Thor comes complete with switch-out right hand and standing over 19 inches high, the Thor Classic Action Statue is cast in high-quality polystone, a great addition to any Marvel collection!

Pretty cool. I would love to have this if my kids would keep their darn hands off of it. Epic- I can't judge epicness on these types of things. Badass...totally!

It's a sweet statue but I already have the previous "classic" Thor statue that Bowen released. I have wanted to group all of my statues together to create the original Avengers line-up but was waiting for a real large Giant-Man statue to come out, and it just did. It stands 21" tall and towers over the rest. Just spent my spare dough on that one. Now when can we get a tiny little Wasp statue so I can complete my Avengers line-up?

And yeah, that classic costume would have translated well to the big screen. Thor doesn't need armor any more than Superman.........oh yeah, Superman is now getting armor too. WTF???!!!

@ Plasticman - It comes with age my friend. When I was a young buck I would spend all my money on beer and pussy, staying out til bar close on ladies nights and coming into work hung over the next morning.......or not at all. Now that I'm older, wiser, earning more money, and married, I am saving that susbtantial portion of my entertainment dollar for the occasional nerd toy here and there.

In hindsight I probably should have spent that money in my younger days on nerd items like upgrading my comic book collection. I wouldn't have had nearly as much fun, but my collection would be worth tens of thousands more.

Check out this new Giant-Man statue along with some soon to be released Goliath statues as well. The Thor statue is about as tall as the Yellowjacket and Ant-Man statues in the second pic. The Giant-Man statue truly is GIANT in comparison.

Ooooh... me likey!! The opaque/"in-motion" hammers just put it over the top. Hopefully a more affordable mini-statue version will be released soon after - that'd be a guaranteed must buy for me.
