TOYS: Get Another Look At New STAR WARS REBELS Villain Via Action Figure

"Star Wars Rebels’ continues the epic tradition of the legendary ‘Star Wars’ saga with all-new exciting, action-packed adventures. It is a dark time in the galaxy, as the evil Galactic Empire tightens its grip of power from world to world. As the series begins, Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet, ruling with an iron fist and ruining the lives of its people.

But there are a select few who are brave enough to stand up against the endless Stormtroopers and TIE fighters of the Empire: the clever and motley crew of the starship “Ghost.” Together, this ragtag group will face threatening new villains, have thrilling adventures, and become heroes."

Star Wars Rebels will be with us sometime next year.

Looks badass

I don't like it. He's got a little Darth Maul (face tatts) a little Vader (black armor, ridged cloth) and some Ventress (bald). I guess this is what you get if you drop the Sith in a blender.

Unoriginal. Uninspired. Not interested.

Im very pleased to see the same writers and animators and so on from The Clone Wars are doing this show as well.

But if Disney doesnt let the final 6th season of Clone Wars get released in some format or at least make an announcement about it then I may have to boycot Rebels.

Does every main Star Wars villain (aside from Tarkin) have to be a Sith or have a lightsaber??

@Wingding There is Grand Admiral Thrawn and Lt.Tierce and Co. They didn't have lightsabers.

@drfate If how the villain looked determined everything, I don't think many people would be intrigued by the Joker. It's not just the look, it's how that villain is written.

And to be honest I think he looks badass.

@Gamera623 Filoni already said that the Bonus Content episodes would be released early 2014.

And they complain noone buys their toys ... I mean, it looks okay compared to some other toys, but you can't even move his [frick]ing knees and elbows ! This works for collectioners, but not fo kids who wantto play.Maybe this is just a prototype, though.

This is the OT. Vader should be the only Sith/lightsaber-wielding villain.

This bugs me. I thought we were finally done with Clone Wars.

He would look better with a hood and cape.

He is bald because his species does not have hair. Also his species normally have red face markings. They can be seen in Episode 3 when Obi lands and goes after Grievous. It's the same tall alien race he speaks to when he lands. He will more then likely not be Sith considering the rule of two. They are referred more as either force users, assassins, hands or apprentices. Tarkin will be present in this series as well with hopes of seeing Thrawn as well. Remember this is one of the best periods for character development in Star Wars with it being between Clone Wars and New Hope. Proto Boba, I think so.

I'm so excited for this show! It sounds like it'll be kind of dark. Is Vader going to be in this at all, or is this new guy supposed to be the new villain while Vader is doing other stuff? Plus I wonder if maybe his lightsaber is something the Emperor made for him to use against the jedi and that he's not a real apprentice.

@unknownfacts Some of the writers and Greg Weisman (Mastermind of "The Gargoyles","Spectacular Spiderman" and "Young Justice")

@Vaportrail This takes place between 3 and 4. This isn't the Clone Wars. And he may not live throughout the series (Weisman has a history of killing off characters).

If Weisman is included then I'm definitely there loved Gargoyles and Young Justice.
