BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Trailer Goes To War With Namor And Teases The MCU's New Panther

The emotional, breathtaking first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been released, and it teases high stakes as war breaks out between Wakanda and Namor the Sub-Mariner's undersea nation...

Brace yourselves, because this is one heck of a trailer.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever concluded Marvel Studios' Hall H presentation to thunderous roars and applause, beginning with a live performance by Baaba Maal, Massamba Diop, and dancers and drummers. Following a Q&A and a minute-long silence to pay tribute to Chadwick Boseman, a jaw-dropping first look at the sequel ended the night in Hall H.

Confirming that King T'Challa has died, it points to Wakanda going to war with Namor the Sub-Mariner, and even teases the MCU's new Black Panther. We don't know who is wearing the costume, but we'd be willing to put money on it being Letitia Wright's Shuri.

The movie looks phenomenal, and we'd go so far as to say this is one of Marvel Studios' best trailers to date. It certainly looks like the Black Panther sequel will be emotional, though that was to be expected after Boseman tragically died following a lengthy battle with cancer.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livanalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in theaters on November 11, later this year.
