Ty Kramer was the winner of the kids costume category. His custom/home made Guy Gardner outfit was sublime!!! His parents requested for their son's costume to be immortalised in a portrait sketch. Here it is:

Now although Benjamin Watts won the best "Superhero" costume category with his amazing Daredevil costume, he decided to offer his prize sketch to KeepItReal which had expressed her desire to receive a portrait of her son in his Wolverine holloween costume! My hat's off to the winner, especially for his generosity!!! I hope you like it, KIR ;)

John Goodwin (InValensName) won the "funniest" costume category with his Captain Planet attire. However he had a special request for his prize sketch: for me to sketch his portrait with Christian Bale's Batman cowl. Well without further ado:

Donald Gray (TheAnswer) won the "Scariest" costume category disguised as Frank The Bunny and requested a portrait of Christian Camargo as The Joker from All Star Batman. Here's your answer:

Set2FallFirst won the best "Supervillain" costume category with his home made Scarecrow costume and requested a portrait of Jon Hamm as Green Arrow. That wasn't really surprising since he's been campaigning for it since i can remember! Well for anyone wondering what Jon Hamm would look like if he was chosen to be Oliver Queen, here he is:

I am sorry to say that as it was announced in the previous articles of CBM's holloween costume contest, i will be holding onto the original sketches for safe keeping. There's just no way in hell that i would send my hard worked art through the mail for it to be manhandled, raped and butchered by lonely postmen even though they might have good intentions at first. I'm just not the trusting type, clearly. So they will stay in my possession until we probably come across each other in our near future. The winners will shortly be receiving an e-mailed copy of their requested sketches.

Be sure to keep a look out for my next sketch which will be in honor of our fallen friend, TheMyth!

Ooooo! I was wondering about these! Cool!

Aw, that was nice of the Benjamin guy. And Shaman, there are ways to send these sketches unharmed. I send out secret documents all the time and they don't get damaged. Just roll 'em up in a tube. Or send photo-copies. There is nothing like having the original though.

Spilox & necrosage2005- Thanks guys!!!

That's great, Multi! I'll be waiting for those! Thanks bud ;)

Betty- That is a good point, but until they make titanium tubes that can be sent through the mail at no cost, i'm still not sending the original. And why send a photocopy since they'll have it in their e-mails. The winners will be able to print themselves a copy to hang on their wall. That is until we ever get to meet of course :))

LEEE- Damn right you should've!!! But don't worry, i have your boy Lewis lined up for a sketch. Not Cap though, but at least it's something LOL. And something cool, i might add! You'll just have to keep a lookout ;) Oh and just to let you know, Jonny boy here has a "stach" cause Olly has one. That's the name of the game ;)

TheAnswer- Cheers, bud!!! I'm glad you like it!!! I'll be sending you your copy in a few ;)

VAL for BATMAN!!!

Shaman
Shaman - 12/14/2009, 10:37 AM
LEEE- LOL I'm not telling a damn soul LOL :P I love the surprise effect even though it shouldn't be much of a surprise ;)

Good point Ror but sometimes, fancasting can be a powerful thing ;) Take Set2Fall1st for example, the guy desperately wanted to see his pic of actor for a role he feels very strongly about. And since his costume has a full faced mask, he probably felt it irrelevant to have a portrait of his mask. But i get what you're saying, bro. You should ask Multi to make you a costume for next year! After winning in your category, if i'm still around, i might just sketch you up ;) And like i said, even though it's taking it's sweet time, my little project is still on! And you'll be essential!!!

invalensname- Hey hey, now!!! The most awesome-ist thing ever is BABYLON5!!! Now don't you forget it!!! LOL But thanks dude, i'm glad you like it! I must say, having to sketch your face under the bat cowl had me a bit worried. But i'm very happy to say that you actually look good with it!

invalensname - 12/14/2009, 10:44 AM
@Shaman- between Babylon 5 and Batman- damn, thats a hard choice, lol!! Its sweet dude, gonna use it as my Facebook profile pic.

And to show what a Batman fan I am...

Shaman
Shaman - 12/14/2009, 10:47 AM
Ah shoot! I can't see the pic you just posted up. My work place blocks it :(

I know how hard a choice it is though. I'd have to choose Batman in general but i prefer Babylon5 to Nolan's Batman films though. I love his movies but the series was just out of this world!!! In my neck of the woods, i just spotted all seasons down to 30$ each!!! They used to be 75$!!! So since i'm missing 3 to 5 and the "movie" box, i'll go get them pronto ;)

@DogsofWar- well over a year anyway ;)

@Shaman- 3-5 are the best series dude. And Crusade is well worth checking out too.
StephenStrange
StephenStrange - 12/14/2009, 11:43 AM
beautifully done, Shaman. As always. =)
Shaman
Shaman - 12/14/2009, 11:52 AM
Thanks guys!

invalensname- Hmmm, yes. I'll have to add "Crusade" to the list as well ;)

blee947- Yes it does give off that effect because i wanted it to look like he was turning his head inside his hood. The shape of the hood makes the head look misshapen. Here's the picture i chose to base my sketch on. The hood appears to be chopping off a bit of the top of Jon's head for some reason.
