Here we have a new promo poster The CW's Riverdale, giving us a look at the main cast of this "subversive" take on the classic Archie Comics. Variety also reports that Molly Ringwald (The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles) will be bringing a bit of '80s nostalgia to the proceedings as Archie Andrews' mom.

According to the accompanying character description, "Mary left Riverdale two years ago to follow her dreams, but blows back into town in her family’s hour of need. She not only reconnects with Archie and her husband, Fred (Luke Perry), but also her former high school friends Hermione and Alice. Her reappearance coincides with the Homecoming Dance."

Check out the poster and recent teaser trailer below, and let us know if you're looking forward to this show in the comments.

Riverdale is set to premiere on January 26, and stars KJ Apa as Archie, Andrews, Camilia Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Cole Sprouse as Jughead, Ross Butler as Reggie Mantle, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Daniel Yang as Dilton Doiley, Cody Kearsley as Moose Mason, Ashleigh Murray as Josie, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Marisol Nichols as Mrs. Lodge, Mädchen Amick as Alice Cooper, and Luke Perry as Fred Andrews.
