From The Geek Files writer David Bentley:
THE gods and monsters of Greek mythology will roar onto the screen again in Louis Leterrier's remake of "Clash of the Titans."
The film is due out March 26, 2010. With any blockbuster release comes questions, gossip, and speculation about sequels.
Well, if you want the story to continue and see the Titans clashing again, I can reveal there is indeed a follow-up on the way.
Eagle One Media is to release a sequel called "Wrath of the Titans" on DVD March 2, the same date that the original 1981 version comes to Blu-ray for the first time.
With a story developed under the guidance of Ray Harryhausen - the stop-motion animation legend behind the creatures in the original and so many other classic movies - "Wrath of the Titans" will be presented as a 'motion comic' film and will also include a special bonus 28-page comic with a tie-in story.

Here's the official synopsis: "Five years have passed since the legendary Perseus defeated the evil gorgon Medusa, killed the Kraken, and assumed the crown of the kingdom of Argos. Things seemed idyllic throughout the land for its citizens and recent news of an apparent heir has put everyone in a celebratory mood.
"Yet lurking in the shadows is the one being in Argos simmering with hate and discontent: Calibos. Once thought dead, he was let out of the Underworld by Hades and looks to take his revenge. Perseus stole his bride, stole his position, and stole Zeus' favor. Now Calibos looks to take it all back. And with the news that a baby boy was born to Perseus and Andromeda, he is chilling that dish of revenge..."
The DVD uses the storyline, art, and dialogue from Washington-based Bluewater Productions' Wrath of the Titans comic book series and with the addition of voice-over, special effects, music, and animation, creates a fast-paced video adaptation that takes viewers back to Greek mythological times.
This motion comic production joins Eagle One Media's other available motion comics such as Street Fighter, based on the worldwide popular CAPCOM video game, and Voltron: Defender of the Universe, based on the popular anime television series.
All are available on DVD or for download through iTunes, Playstation Network, and other media distribution platforms.
Also in March will be Bluewater's printed graphic novel version with a new cover image (see below) by Azim.
