In an effort to better the quality of our site, we here at CBM will be posting weekly tutorials showcasing available features that you can use to garner more attention to your fansites and articles. If you already have any requests for topics you would like us to cover in the future, feel free to contact us at any time!

A Basic Guide to HTML

Ever wondered how to make a part of your article really stick out and grab people attention? Well, a great way of doing that is to use any one of the below HTML codes! Of course, it’s important that you don’t go too over the top because your article might just end up looking a mess but they can also help tidy up an editorial or fan cast as well! Here are some of the basic, but essential codes.

Writing In Color

And don’t forget, you can do more colors than just red! Just replace the word with any other of your choice - blue, green or purple for example - and it really is as simple as that!

Writing In Bold

Writing In Italics

How To Underline Text

How To Write With BIG Text

Like with writing in color, just change the number to one of your choice to either increase or decrease the size of your text!

How To Put A Line Through Text

And to center text or images as I have with my Twitter link below, just replace any of the above words with “center”!

Excellent tutorial. I've recently learned how to type in bold, and now I can try something in BIG.

Oh, the wrapping text around pics tutorial doesn't seem to be available.

Thanks guys!

SirPrize: LMAO!!! :D

Destroyer: Huh, I'll look into why that's not working for you! Until then, you'll should easily be able to find it way down under "Features" somewhere!

RaceREX: Damn it, you just ruined the next ComicBookMovie101!!!

InterestingJohn: Yeah...I have no idea what you just said either, lol! I've been using ALL of the above HTML codes on this site since I first signed up and they all work perfectly for me! Plus, they sound a lot more straighforward and simple for people not used to them than any of what you said IMO! :P Thanks though - I'm sure that there are people smarter than me who'll know what you're talking about!

@InterestingJohn: yeah but you have to take in mynd that this site BEGAN as a FAN-SITE, and has grown a lot in the last couple of years.. what I mean is that the tools you mention maybe mean some money that Galactus and his partners maybe didn´t have back then..IMO.

Last month CBM.com changed to a new server, that´s all I know from a RorMachine post don´t you think?

InterestingJohn: Honestly? None of that means anything to me! And as long as these work and are the easiest option, I dont think we'll "hurt" the internet too much. :P The fact is bothers you is...uh...a little sad to be honest, lol! Who the hell wants to write "strong" when they can write "b"? And as long as the above codes work, who really gives a toss about them not being W3C HTML specifications!?

Captain America will be a good one. Green Lantern and Captain America will be the great ones this year. There is not a doubt in my mind about my former statement. It would be great about a new trailer now. I remember when GL trailers took some time, some certain people began to say that they'd "[frick]ed up", "unsecure", "backing out", "afraid" and more dumb comments. Some insane DC fanboy will probably say exactly something like that regarding this as well but it's just dumb. Things takes time, regardless of anything. I am looking forward to a second trailer!
