I'm not ashamed to admit it, I'm a DnD gamer. I play a version called Pathfinder which is fun because with my usual party we rarely find anything. I started playing last year and since then I've become a Game Master and been a member of four separate campaigns, two of which were [frick]ing dreadful. I tend not to mention the campaign with the rats and the kittens and the abondoned house... But I digress, I'm here to tell YOU, yes you, the repurcussions that playing DnD can have on your life. So here's my 5 part list:
1. Addiction
I was hooked after 1 session. I couldn't stop, y'know, I... I got edgy when I hadn't had a game in a while. I'd check my email every minute o' the day just hopin' we'd have a game y'know? Then it stopped for a while, 'n' I got real low. I tried WoW but the buzz just wasn't right. Wasn't long 'fore I started my own campaign and dragged my friends down with me. I'm just tryin' to get clean, man!
2. You get better at mathematics
I used to suck at math! Then I discovered Pathfinder roleplaying game! It really boosted my math skills having to roll a 20 sided di, then add my bonuses or double or even triple the damage when I get a critical hit. Now, I look forward to math!

3. You lose some of your sanity
See above.
4. Acting skills
What if I told you... It's not just a game? It's a game within a game and you can't get to the next game level without hitting 88 MILES PER HOUR, and don't forget, I am your father. Yo, CBM, I did it!!! Could I BE any more awesome?
5. You become less attractive to the opposite sex
I rest my case.
Hope you enjoyed my latest "article". Be sure to check back for more bullshit some other time.
