Seems like this "Top CBM Moments" lists became a new thing here, everyone doing some really great lists with their own choices. So now I decided to do my own, but it's a Top 10, so check my choices.

10. Ghost Rider:

Going Up

Ok, the movie wasn't great, it may even be one of the worst comic book movies ever with some awful acting, but this particular scene was taken straight from the comics, we see the role character going up on a building in an epic scene followed by an exciting fight against an helicopter.

9. Spider-Man:

Spider-Man vs Green Goblin

Most people find the train scene from Spider-Man 2 memorable, but for me it's got to be the final fight between Spider-Man and Green Goblin in the first movie. It has good action and dialogue, and the ending of the scene makes this position here worth. "I have a father, his name was Ben Parker."

8. Sin City:

Marv's Death

Yeah, this scene is not much discussed or remembered, but for me it has to be one of the most memorable scenes from Sin City. We see Mickey Rourke character Marv at his last minutes on the eletric chair, refusing a pray, and tricking the guards after the first shock. This scene is remarkable as it has Rourke at his best, not to forget that right after this scene we have some more of his memories with Goldie / Wendy.

7. Batman Returns:

Catwoman Rises

Creepy and dark, that's how Burton decided to give life to his version of Catwoman in Batman Returns, his second Batman movie. We see Michelle Pfeiffer giving her own fantastic touch to the scene, introducing Catwoman on the most perfect way, which would be stuck on young men lives forever as one of the best CBMs scenes. *Sorry no embed to this one, so click on the image to get to the video.*

6. Watchmen:

Doctor Manhattan kills Rorschach

After finding out the big plan behind the destruction of half of New York City, Rorschach decides to go out and not let this goes without a punishment, Doctor Manhattan doesn't want this to be revealed because it was essential to a greater good, so he decides that Rorschach has to die. The sequence of his death will be remembered forever, we have the Antihero realizing that there is no way back from this death and has just to accept it, followed by this we have the incredible and touching reaction by Nite Owl.

5. X-Men: First Class:

Never Again

We have here the moment in which Magneto rises, after killing Shawn Erik's dark side emerges and he sees the humans as we always knew that Magneto does, as inferiors. Charles and Erik confrontation sets up an unforgettable scene, which is well acted by both actors. From there, Erik becomes the villain we know and love.

4. The Dark Knight:

Magic Trick

This is Heath Ledger at his finest as the character. He arrives at the scene with a creepy, dangerous and "funny" personality, revealing himself to the mob as the one who would be a true match to Batman, but of course, they laugh at him. Still this will always be remembered as the most, or one of the most, brilliant scenes of Ledger, mainly because of his magic trick, which sets up a perfect atmosphere.

3. The Mask:

First Transformation

Surprised huh? Yeah well, this is not only one of my favorite CBMs, but also it was one of my favorite movies on childhood, and this specific scene is amazing because we see Stanley getting transformed on "The Mask" for the first time. It has an intense and misterious tone, which is an outstanding way to introduce such a character.

2. V For Vendetta:

He Was All Of Us

The movie teaches us one thing: "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people". And this ending for the movie justifies the whole plot and things that happened along the way. One man was needed to change it all, and after that, people got strong and got out on the streets to show that they are now free because of what he did for them.

1. Iron Man:

I Am Iron Man

Well here we are, why is this in my opinion the most memorable scene on CBM story? It was not expected at all, and had us thinking on what it would bring for the character at future sequels. In the movie he was kidnapped, got away, opened his eyes and became a hero, but still, he couldn't keep it for himself, he shared with the whole world his secret identity, and this got the superheroes movies in a whole new course.
