@THEHAWK - That's right! I remember the first Molly Hatchet cover and how bad ass it looked! Though Molly Hatchet with a Frazetta cover... is like Justin Beiber with a Romita cover. Weird, lol.

Wow, this guy was amazing! I didn't know of him before this, but from what I see, he was very talented. It's sad, but at 82, I think he lived a pretty long life.

Frazetta was definitely a higher caliber of artist. I collect a lot of his work from the Molly Hatchet vinyl covers, Lil Abner, and even old Burroughs novels that Frank had done the art for.

Death Dealer came for his creator ;) May heaven be as beautiful as his oil works!

Frank Frazetta was one of the best, a true artist of his time. His work spans countless mags, comics , movies and such. His art is in a museum, thanks to his wife. His art has helped me in my own style of drawing. He will be missed. I had a friend that had the chance to sit and draw with him a few years back, said it was one of the best times he ever had. " PAINT THE SKY FRANK, PAINT THE SKY!"
