When word hit that DC Comics were essentially rebooting there entire line of titles and starting from scratch with all new #1 issues the reaction was decidedly mixed. Many felt that to completely disregard so many great titles, including the longest running comic there was in
Detective Comics, was nothing more than a cynical ploy to market the characters to a younger, "hipper" demographic. Of course, that WAS one of DC's goals but didn't mean we weren't going to get some great comics at the same time.
We are just about to hit the third week of DC's new 52 releases and have seen about half of the titles on the shelves. From the most anticipated comics like
Action Comics and
Green Lantern to more obscure cult characters like
Animal Man and
Swamp Thing which have actually garnered the highest praise so far. Judging from your feedback on previous articles I think a good number of you have picked up at least one or two titles, many more the whole lot so far. So on average how has this reboot gone down with you guys?
