With 852 Votes (39.32%), Steve Rogers' emotional goodbye to Peggy Carter as he is forced to sacrifice himself (for all intents and purposes) in order to save innocent lives comes out on top. You could argue this is more tragic than romantic, but given the context and that final exchange about being late for their date, I think it qualifies. Coming in second was that iconic upside-down kiss from Spider-Man with 559 Votes (25.80%), and third was another classic scene, that nighttime flight from Superman: The Movie with 278 Votes (12.83%).

how was it not romantic,cap was willing to give up his own life to save a lot of people and all he can think about when he wakes is the girl he loves,id call that romance. The spiderman kiss was more of peter finally gets what he's wanted for so long, i wouldn't call mary jane kissing someone she doesn't know and just met romantic.But hey,thats just me

i never got why cap couldnt just turn the thing around instead of aim it down, i konw it was for him to be frozen and appear in avengers but still, im suprsed he didnt think of that

@Mrcool210 Felt the same way. Or at least bail at the last second. It was established he had super hops. Might have been able to clear it... and still freeze in those conditions. I don't know.

Peggy has the biggest rack of the CBM ladies. That scene in CAP where she's in the red dress is, well, tits. Both Starks would kill it given the chance.

I disagree with this. That scene was more emotional than it was romantic. Great scene, but this is the wrong category for this scene. Spider-Man should have won.

What about the Daredevil scene on the roof in the rain. I mean he chose to tap that ass instead of preventing someone from being robbed or murdered. If that's not romantic I don't know what is.

@FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey, as far as romantic goes, I think the final scene of Spider-man ("only a friend, peter parker?") was really more romantic than the upside down kiss. Mary Jane wasn't even in love with Spider-man when she kissed him then. It was just kind of a whim. The final scene would've given Cap's scene more of a run for its money for me. That was the culmination of everything Peter and MJ had been through. This is the girl he had loved for years and at the moment he can finally have her, he turns her down because he thinks that's what's best for her. I definitely think this one should have been nominated.

I think the scene in the Incedible Hulk when Betty chases after Bruce in the rain and they embrace after many years apart was very romantic.

Cap scene is tragic, not exactly romantic. Plus, the scene is somewhat ruined by the plot holes regarding that scene.

Other than that terrible plane crashing scene in of itself, yes it was romantic. The whole dance metaphor is great between them. Romance wise, I'd give it to Watchmen's Nite Owl sex scene, cause it's romantic (and girls loved it so that's saying something).

This was such a STUPID scene!! He wanted to die. He had enough control of the plane to do a nose dive into the ice but NOT to turn it around?!? He jumped onto an escape pod and circled the plane and taunted Red Skull but couldn't get into another of the escape pods before it crashed?!? No, sorry. These scene was unnecessary and completely over-acted. I say the scene between Supes and Lois in Superman returns where he takes her up and says he hears everything and people crying out for a hero

That was not a well acted scene. I felt zero emotions watching that plane go down. The movie was alright, but none of the actors really made you care about their character, so when this scene rolled around there was no emotional payoff for me.
