The Spider-Man of Activision's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has an impressive wardrobe, with an old-school Amazing outfit and a futuristic suit from the year 2099. At Marvel's video game Comic-Con panel today, Spidey's wardrobe rapidly expanded.

In addition to the Noir, Amazing, Ultimate and 2099 outfits, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions also features unlockable versions of Spider-Man's cosmic costume and the futuristic "Iron Spider" get up. Those two costumes are GameStop and Amazon.com exclusive.

Kmart and Best Buy offer two more exclusive costumes, Scarlet Spider and the relatively obscure Negative Zone variation, respectively.

Also unlockable will be Spider-Armor and the Mangaverse version of Spidey. The latter is, according to Marvel reps at today's panel, the first appearance of that take on the character in a video game.

So you have to pre-order it from multiple stores and buy multiple copies just to get codes to all these extra costumes and waste a lot of money. Well HELL!!! I'm in!!!

They could just make all the suits availible so the fans have more game playing fun and options but thats just my silly little idea of fun. Such utter garbage we go through just to have a little fun. Oh well!?!

This game looks cool and I want to get it. But Im sick of all these exclusive costumes and DLC.. when you pay 65.00(including tax) you except all the content and customs to be there so you can unlock it no matter where you buy the game. This shit is retarded. You have to buy like 6 copies of the game just to get the codes to get all customs. They did this with MUA 2 and a bunch of other games. DLC cost you more money when you already spent alot to get the game. When you spend that much money now for games you except the whole game. If they are selling an in compelete game they should be selling them.

I agree 100% kooldeath. They shouldn't be selling incomplete games to the public. That just sounds like plain old fashioned greed to me.

They're just using this gimmick to steal more money from the gaming public. Just put it in the game or save it for a sequel game. Don't pay extra for something you don't need.

For anyone who thinks Negative Zone and Scarlet Spider are exclusives, notice the words are, " to immediately unlock" so they're still in the game if you don't get it there.

awesome find @ otherside!! guys, if you pre-order the game, ur guaranteed the pre-order gift. Hell, I know for a fact Best Buy gives u the download code the minute you pre-order a game! just cuz u pre-order the game doesn't mean you have to buy all of those copies you pre-ordered from all of these places (trust me, I used to work at a game store :D )

The only one I know won't work for this is Amazon so that's where I'm getting my copy of SM: SD and I'll just get the pre-order gifts from everywhere else! So heed my advice so you can get all of these awesome costumes and not waste all of your money!! :)

not a fan of them separating these costumes by distributors. its almost an injustice to hardcore spidey fans, because no one is going to preorder in more than one location, but we all know we want them all.

i know i can work the system to get them all, but we shouldn't have to go through such extraordinary lengths for merely in game content.

now if it was an actual spidey costume i could wear to comic-con...now we're talking.
