Following the news that Avatar: The Way of Water looks set to clock in at a whopping 3 hours, 10 minutes, we have some exciting news (via SFFGazette.com) about when the next trailer for the sequel will be released.

The first teaser was released earlier this year, playing exclusively in front of Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness in theaters before later surfacing online. Now, it's been confirmed that the second sneak peek will premiere during Wednesday's episode of Good Morning America, likely so it can then be shown before Black Panther: Wakanda Forever the following week.

We anticipate it hitting YouTube right after, if not during, that TV debut, so you'll want to keep your eyes peeled to SFFGazette.com later this week for the latest sneak peek the moment it drops.

Hopefully, this trailer will shed a little more light on the Avatar sequel's story, not to mention some of the underwater visuals that filmmaker James Cameron has been hyping up in recent interviews. Those are said to be groundbreaking, especially with state-of-the-art 3D effects.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

Directed by Avatar helmer James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, Avatar: The Way of Water stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet.

To whet audiences' appetites, the first Avatar movie was re-released last month. It propelled the movie to over $2.9 billion at the box office, a sum it will be hard for even Avatar: The Way of Water to top. As we're sure you know, that arrives in theaters worldwide on December 16.

I haven't seen the first one since my theater screening in 2009, but I remember it as one of the most incredible blockbuster experiences of my life. I hope the sequel can deliver something similar. Will watch it on the biggest screen possible.

The HFR clip at the end of the first one's re-release was truly spectacular. I need more!
