Variety report that David Fincher's long gestating adaptation of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea is making waves once more, and the director wants Brad Pitt for the central role of Ned Land. According to the site, Disney has put a "three-month hold" on Fincher while they decide whether to move forward or not, but the director has his eye on Pitt should the studio give the greenlight. Word is, Fincher is anxious to get started on the project but Disney want to hold off while they figure out the budget. Disney declined to comment, but Pitt's reps have not denied that this might be one of several possibilities for the actor to consider next year. For the full story click the link below.

I wish Sony would go ahead with Played with Fire, and the girl who kicked the hornet's nest. Fincher does need to do something ridiculous like this.

What ever. Didn't like the old movie, actually. Which is strange since I like a lot of old movies, but then in my opinion the book wasn't all that good either. So yeah. But I guess it's ok. I'm not against it, just not for it either.

He would be cool.

Daniel Day-Lewis, Javier Bardem, Mark Strong, Liam Neeson or Naveen Andrews would definitely be great Nemo.
