Love a bit of Doctor Who, the specials have become a new Christmas tradition for so many, and I think this is the best Christmas episode since The End of Time (David Tennant's two part departure story). Very eager to watch the second half of this series when it returns next year, and Clara seems like she'll be a brilliant companion. Also really enjoyed the throwbacks to classic Who, such as the new theme-tune mix, the Doctor's face appearing in the opening credits, and the new Tardis interior.

Oh dont ask me that hard question, too many good movies out this year!!!! I think it is a joint number 1 between Skyfall, the Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises. These three movies blew me away and reminded me how a proper cinematic experience can give you the biggest of smiles by the end of the movie! The Amazing Spider-Man was good, but I think its the origin story fatigue stopped it from getting into my very favourite movies. The Hobbit was fantastic too. I think the only disappointments were Safe House and Prometheus

Cant wait for Phase 2 of the Marvel movies (seriously as comic book fans, we are getting spoiled, Im so happy!) and even The Man Of Steel looks awesome (heres hoping its the beginning of WB finally getting their act together and give us the DC Cinematic Universe we deserve!). Plus I will give Wolverine one more chance but something tells me, I will be regretting afterwards, but we shall see! lol

Cherrybomb, when she was first cast as the new companion, I went back and watched Captain America (like I needed a reason lol) and there she was, couldnt believe it! It was even better because I went through all the Marvel movies in the last couple of days and after finding out (SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ANYONE WHO HASNT SEEN IT YET) there are multiple versions of her through time and space, all I could think of, theres another version going out with Bucky, shes probably going to die soon, like the other two versions! lol Plus she is a hottie too, always good in a companion, along with likability!
