Godzilla reboot/remake's 2012 release date has been changed to 2014. IMDB confirms. I also corresponded with the author of zennie62blog.com who confirms as well and will be posting a video later this week with details.

Does anyone even still care about Godzilla? I know I don't and I don't see the need in making a new movie.

Hmm....ok. Just as long as it isn't like the 1998 one then I am happy.

Im excited of both Pacific Rim and this! I mean Kaijus rules! Godzilla should fight first against Mechagodzilla, Biollante, King Ghidorrah or Destroyah!

Sure I like Godzilla as much as anybody but this brand is a dying breed. If it's called Godzilla you have to focus it on a monster you can't relate to and if you don't then it's stupid

agreed dude above me..
and i still care bout godzilla..i thought the 1998 movie was sick..thats cuz i was a kid haha
but the reboot def. needs to have destruction LOTS of it!!
they need to focus more on him!! than the humans!
and i hope they dnt kill him
and as for it being pushed back to 2014....will we even be alive?? hahah i mean 2012 is right around the corner ha

I don't trust IMDB with anything, but I can see the film coming out around 2013/2014. Last we heard was about a month ago that David S. Goyer's writing the script, so definitely not coming out in 2012.

NO! I still dont trust IMDB. I say it'll come out in 2013. Lets hope they get some amazing animators to bring Gojira to life, like WETA. I bet Toho is gonna make a Godzilla film in 2014 though, since that'll be Godzilla's 60th anniversary. And yes, there are still die hard Godzilla fans!
