Jurassic Park pulled off the near impossible when it made moviegoers believe that dinosaurs were real again...at least on the silver screen. The film features a near seamless blend of digital and practical effects, which is something most films to this day struggle with. While many scenes featuring dinosaurs were rendered by Industrial Light and Magic, I will always contend that it was the scenes featuring practical effects that truly stole the show. From the heart pumping scene of Raptors chasing the children in the kitchen to the T-Rex tossed around an SUV like it was a cat playing with yarn, the craftsmanship of Winston's crew shined through.
