If you're a comics fan and haven't been reading BOOM! Studios' ongoing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, then you've really been missing out on some excellent storytelling from writer Kyle Higgins and his team. 

With San Diego Comic-Con just around the corner, BOOM! has unveiled their SDCC Exclusive covers for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #17 and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2017 Annual #1 along with two variant covers for Saban's Go Go Power Rangers #1, which will be the first issue in a brand-new series that launches this fall. 

In case you couldn't tell, the covers pay a very cool homage to Jim Lee's classic X-Men #1 gatefold cover, which you can revisit at the bottom. Check out the new covers below:

I hate how Marvel are mistreating The X-Men these days,its all about The Inhumans now.As much as I love The Inhumans The X-Men are what got me interested in comic books,back in the day of Claremont's X-Men they out sold everything,they were the team to beat in the world of comics,I would say they were better than The Avengers definitely more popular.

@MonsieurCringe - I doubt it. The Inhumans have not caught on the way the X-Men did back when this #1 came out.

And this Inhumans tv show looks god awful. So if the Inhumans are destined to be a popular team the likes of the X-Men back in the 90's, then it will need to wait some more.
