Credited to AB Media is what appears to be a teaser poster for Rise of the Apes, though it would likely be more for early marketing than anything actually being used for the film itself.

It's not exactly clear what the image is depicting. One can assume that while one side of the face represents the chimp Caesar (who will be played by Andy Serkis), the other side features appartus utilized on the ape during genetic manipulation by the scientist played by James Franco; a genetic manipulation that will dramatically increase Caesar's intelligence and bring about the rise of the apes against humanity.

Glad you pointed out the Terminator 3 one. I really thought it was maybe some sort of device that is being used on Caesar to alter his brain, thus giving him superior intelligence. But it definitely left me scratching my head.
